After reading one of Kate's most recent stand alones ("Sixes), which I didn't care for, I worried that the next Bailey Weggins mystery might fall down a bit. I was pleased that it didn't though. The characters were pretty disagreeable, but interesting, and the plot kept moving with new discoveries turning things around and around. I also liked that this book developed Bailey's relationship with Beau as well, as I was getting bored with the on/off angst. I won't spoil it, but some progress is made, in all areas of her life, that makes Bailey's life in general seem more real. Hopefully this means more great books! Onward Kate!

Fluffy, unimpressed, forgettable. I've liked her books in the past, but this one just seemed, well, formulaic. I read voraciously but I was almost immediately bored and disappointed.
one ot the best bailey weggins' mysteries. i never wanted this book to end. i love the humor, the mystery, the characters, and the everything. kate white really nailed everything in this book, and i want more.
Wow loved it! So catchy...it hurts! LOL. I would read this one again just because I loved the thrill of it all. It's like a wild rollercoaster ride and maybe the second time I'd notice clues I didn't notice the first time. )
Kate white is a great author. Read everything you an by this author.
I enjoy Kate White's writing... but this book moved so slowly. I kept waiting for that lift where you have to continue the read, but it never came. I had the feeling that this 300 plus book could have been a novella. I did finish it... but sadly it was an effort!
Bailey Weggins, the Manhattan-based thirty something true-crime journalist, is enjoying her regular gig at Buzz, a leading celebrity magazine, getting freelance work, and hoping her first book will garner attention. I love the Bailey Weggins character and was excited about getting this book! It seemed to be a great
story according to what I read on the web-page.

As I began reading I was sure the book would be a real winner. Sadly, not for this reader. I found
it difficult to follow in the sense that the story jumped around from one character to the next and
character development seemed minimal.

Finally, I thought the story droned on and on going around in circles. That being said, I'm not
giving up on Bailey Weggins!
